Stéphane G. Ouellet , Ph.D.
Stéphane Ouellet earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Toronto and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the California Institute of Technology with Professor David MacMillan.
Stéphane began his professional career in the Process Research group at Merck Frost in Canada where he held positions of increasing responsibility. As Discovery Process Chemistry Site Lead at the Merck Boston site, he helped to build highly integrated and collaborative new approaches to Discovery Research and played a key role in the integration of the medicinal and process chemistry functions.
Stéphane has been involved in the development and scale up of over 30 pre-clinical compounds and he developed relationships with an extensive network of CRO / CMO in both Europe/North America and Asia. For the past 12 years, Stéphane has been supporting the progression of late stage development programs in order to facilitate the transition into the early development.
